The FundaTalk platform recently launched a brand new feature: “Session Summary.”
This is a written review summary prepared by psychologists or physicians after sessions, helping you organize key points and discussion content from each session.
The inspiration for this design came from a 2016 systematic review published in Administration and Policy in Mental Health.
The research indicated that incorporating a “feedback mechanism” into the treatment process can significantly enhance treatment effectiveness, especially for clients who “feel they haven’t changed much.”

This systematic review integrating 32 studies found:
Research indicates that when the treatment process is “visible,” it helps stabilize clients’ emotions and reduce self-doubt arising during therapy.
Especially for clients with lower self-awareness, feedback mechanisms can help them identify and understand these changes—it’s a way to help clients organize internal feelings and clarify recovery directions.
Additionally, written organization by professionals can help clients more clearly know what to do next, such as whether to continue treatment and how to adjust their life pace.
For FundaTalk, we hope to be not just a platform providing online counseling and video consultations but also wish our team can help each client recover stably.
Therefore, based on the above research foundation, we developed the “Session Summary” feature: after each session ends, professionals will write a “Session Summary” based on that session’s discussion, providing you with written organization of this consultation/counseling session.
The process works as follows:
We understand privacy is something every user cares about, so this feature is only visible to users and professionals, complying with professional ethics and privacy protection.
Quick reminder: If the session situation is more complex, or the professional judges it inappropriate to respond in written form, they may also choose not to send a summary but instead explain further in the next session.

We deeply understand that every step of mental health needs to be respected and protected.
Therefore, FundaTalk’s design doesn’t incorporate real-time conversation features but uses “one-time feedback + one-way messaging” instead. This design can:
Change doesn’t necessarily become immediately visible. Sometimes it hides in the way you face emotions or in the courage to walk into the consultation room again.
If you’ve been feeling stuck lately or aren’t quite sure what meaning this journey has, please don’t rush to deny yourself. The FundaTalk platform has professional psychiatrists, counseling psychologists, and clinical psychologists who can accompany you in gradually clarifying direction through feedback.
